Overview

Fèzî-inë Ye was founded durring the late 17th century in late winter of the year 1662, by Brèsî. The establishment of Fèzî-inë Ye was plagued by a lack of willing colonists. After attempts to pay people to resettle failed Brèsî struck deals with nearby nations and communities to establish Fèzî-inë Ye as a prison colony.

Fèzî-inë Ye was built using the conventions of Iron Elvish durring the late 17th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Fèzî-inë Ye is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.

Fèzî-inë Ye is buildings have been located at convienant points along the valley Fèzî-inë Ye was built upon. Navigating the town is therefore a little chalanging as the distance between buildings verris greatly and the spacious baked earthen streets flow where they are able to be made rather than folowing the most convienant paths. The city posesses a mighty albit amaturly crafted stone wall. It was built using querried stone blocks and posesses all of the standard defencive features, including a few watch towers. While it would last against a siege, the wall's outdated and simplistic construction method percludes the possability of Fèzî-inë Ye weathering a full scale bombardment durring a siege. Astonishigly, the budget focused millitary grade defenses are in pristine condishion, as if they had just been finished before you laied eyes upon them.

Right off the bat Fèzî-inë Ye hits you in the face with its success. Everyone, even the peasants, are dressed in well made clothing. Every tool and implement you can see is finely made, and people will boast to you as obvious strangers of the wonders which can be found in their markets. More interestingly is a total lack of beggars, and plenty of new buildings are going up even as you speak. Somehow this city has come into quite a lot of wealth, and recently from the looks of things. This wealth has brought the city nothing but neurosis, if you can believe your eyes. Everyone acts as if you’re out to take a piece of them. Every door is locked and every window barred. Efforts are made to make you feel welcome, but only in the public areas of the city, particularly the market.

History

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the late 2nd century, Fèzî-inë Ye was attacked by soldiers from another nation, with orders to raid Fèzî-inë Ye. The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is Fèzî-inë Ye lost 261 people, 277 livestock, and 40 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 179, when members of Fèzî-inë Ye's militia enacted an operation to train a group of civilians for a special clandestine operation. The operation was complicated by a trusted officer who turned traitor and defects. The conflict ended with an assault and siege on the temple, which ended in a stalemate for Fèzî-inë Ye's forces. The war is remembered in legend by Fèzî-inë Ye's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
